RESERVATIONS

If so, fill out the TOUR REGISTRATION FORM.

DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at the time of booking.
Deposits can be made via check (payable to "The Sojourning Swan, LLC") or Zelle.

The completed TOUR REGISTRATION FORM and $500 non-refundable deposit must be submitted to secure your seat. Please note that this tour is limited to eight participants. Without both the completed form and the non-refundable deposit, your spot is not guaranteed.

FINAL PAYMENT

Final payment, via check (payable to "The Sojourning Swan, LLC") or Zelle,

is due at least 30 days before a trip’s start date.

CANCELLATION

If The Sojourning Swan cancels a tour (ex: insufficient number of travellers), you will be entitled to a 100% refund of all monies paid (including your deposit); however, in the event of another global pandemic or something that affects travel beyond TSS’s control (see the “force majeure” section),

all monies paid ~ except your $500 deposit ~ will be returned.

If you cancel your tour reservation, the following policy will apply:

≥46 days prior to the trip’s start date in France ⇒ 100% refund of any monies already paid,

less your $500 deposit

≤45 days prior to the trip’s start date in France ⇒ refund calculated based on expenses

prepaid for the upcoming tour that cannot

be refunded to TSS (ex: accommodations,

meals, tours), less your $500 deposit

REFUND POLICY

If you must interrupt your trip after the start date, your refund will be calculated based on daily costs already incurred and any prepaid expenses that cannot be refunded to TSS, less your $500 deposit.

This is a small-group tour, so any cancellation affects the entire group, but TSS will do its best to work with you on whatever issues arise.

POST-CANCELLATION: If you wish to join another TSS tour, your deposit will be rolled over to that one; however, if you do not sign up for another tour or another is not offered, your deposit is still non-refundable.

FORCE MAJEURE

Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, The Sojourning Swan, LLC shall not be liable for losses or expenses of any kind arising as a result of or due to events beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God; virus, quarantine, sickness, pandemic, illness or disease (including, but not limited to, SARS, Legionnaires, COVID‐19 or any other infectious disease); restrictions, regulations, ordinances, lockdowns or advisories (including travel advisory warnings) of any kind imposed by government or any other authority; civil unrest or war (including, but not limited to, armed conflict, terrorism or threats of terrorism as substantiated by governmental warnings or advisory notices); strikes or labor disputes; curtailment, changes or delays of transportation services, facility services or any other service that would materially affect the trip; forces of nature (including, but not limited to, natural disaster, fire, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, typhoons, tsunami, floods, drought or any other extreme inclement weather of any kind); shortages or disruption of the electrical power supply causing blackouts or rolling blackouts or material failure of other essential utilities; or any other cause beyond The Sojourning Swan, LLC's reasonable control that renders the current or future trip commercially impracticable, impracticable to perform, illegal or impossible to fully perform.

In such a case, The Sojourning Swan, LLC may cancel the trip and terminate this agreement, without liability, upon written notice to the traveller. As stated herein, "without liability" means that there will be no refunds or reimbursement of deposits or fees paid, and The Sojourning Swan, LLC will also not be liable for any damages, liquidated damages, attrition fees, cancellation fees, rental charges, service charges, or any direct, consequential, compensatory, special incidental damages or any other damages or amounts of any nature whatsoever.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

No responsibility is accepted for any loss, expense, accident, injury or damage to any person’s property due to the actions or omissions of any person or any cause, including, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, defects in machinery, breakdowns or equipment, weather, quarantine, negligence, loss of baggage, or other causes beyond our control. Such losses are the responsibility of the traveller, and retrieval of such items will also be the sole responsibility of him/her. The Sojourning Swan, LLC is in no way responsible for the loss or retrieval of any guest’s personal items that are lost, misplaced or stolen during the tour in France.
